ClimateLab conducts oceanographic fieldwork and marine data analysis,
and provides expert advice on the design of ocean observation programmes.
We have extensive expertise in hydrographic measurements of temperature,
pressure, salinity, turbulence and currents, as well as water chemistry
data relevant to your project.
We advise on the design of observation programmes based on analyses of
historical data and knowledge of the marine conditions in your area.
This includes, among other things, meteorological data, satellite data,
previous marine measurements and relevant scientific research.
We optimise measurement programmes to ensure that the data can be used
effectively in numerical modelling.
Marine data analysis is carried out using data from a range of platforms,
including time-series stations, autonomous buoys, ship-based measurements
and measurements conducted from shore. Data analyses are delivered with
a thorough description of measurement methods and uncertainties, and are
interpreted in the context of your project, for example in the form of
risk assessments or projections of expected future developments.
